Combining expertise in art, design and technology, the Interactive Institute is an experimental IT-research institute based in Sweden.
Founded in 1998, the Interactive Institute is comprised of multiple research studios/groups located across the country and each node has its own area of specialisation that contributes to their focus on exploring the intersections between technology, art and design. Their innovative research uses collaborative models to explore digital technologies and their research output includes academic publications, exhibitions, start-up companies and popular books.
