Re-Flex is a multi-disciplinary research centre for the study of virtual, mixed and augmented reality based at Lund University in Sweden. A collaboration between five separate research laboratories, the Centre’s focus is on people, democracy and solving real-world problems through the development of technology and expertise. Participating labs include the Virtual Reality Lab, the Humanities Lab, the Full Scale Modelling Lab, the Centre for Medical Simulation and the Practicum, a medical simulation and visualisation centre. Projects are diverse and include the use of Virtual Reality in research on stress, cultural heritage projects such as Malmö 1692, a virtual model of the city and an investigation of how virtual reality technologies might be used to help people with cognitive disabilities to access public transport.
