Launched at the Sydney Opera House in 2003, XMediaLab (XML) is a cross-platform, cross-disciplinary, and cross-cultural roving event dedicated to building professional networks in the Creative Industries and digital media. Emerging business models and growing media industries in China, India, the Middle East, and North and South Asia are strengths. By 2009, more than 30 XMediaLab events have been held around the world and the Lab has partnered with many international film festivals and organisations.
